Agreement and Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern all quotations, orders, sales and installation services provided by Offervelocityhub, an Australian lighting retailer and installation business based at 60 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121. By placing an order, accepting a written quote or booking an installation, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Where you engage us as a trade partner or commercial client, these terms apply to the extent they do not conflict with a separately signed supply agreement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotations and Pricing

Written quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices shown on our website are indicative and may change without notice due to supplier pricing, freight costs, component availability or currency movements.

• All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST unless clearly marked otherwise
• Installation quotes assume reasonable site access during normal business hours
• Additional charges may apply for scaffolding, after-hours work, heritage approvals or discovery of unsafe wiring
• Any variation to the agreed scope must be confirmed in writing before the additional work proceeds

Orders, Deposits and Cancellation

Orders for stocked fixtures are confirmed on receipt of payment in full. Custom-made, imported or specially ordered fixtures require a deposit of 50 percent, with the balance payable before dispatch or installation.

You may cancel a standard order within 48 hours of placement without penalty. Cancellation of custom or imported items is not possible once manufacturing has commenced, as these goods are produced specifically for your project. Booking changes for installation visits require at least one full business day of notice, otherwise a call-out fee may apply.

Installation, Access and Site Conditions

We supply licensed electricians and installers for all electrical work. You agree to provide safe, clear access to the work area, to secure pets, and to remove fragile items from below the work zone before our team arrives.

If we arrive and the site is not ready, or if concealed conditions such as asbestos, crumbling plaster, non-compliant wiring or absent ceiling joists are found, we may need to pause the job. Any additional work required will be quoted and approved before continuing. Ceiling heights above four metres, restricted roof cavities and occupied commercial venues may attract extra labour charges.

Warranty, Liability and Consumer Guarantees

All fixtures supplied by Offervelocityhub carry the manufacturer warranty stated on the product page, typically between two and five years. Installation workmanship is warranted for twelve months from the date of completion. Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and, where relevant, photographs of the fault.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by incorrect cleaning, power surges, water ingress, unauthorised modification or use of incompatible dimmers and globes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the affected goods or services. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
